I am the writer, photographer, and imagination behind Feasting on Fruit. Seven years a vegetarian, five years a vegan, and barely one year a blogger, but learning and loving it! I am constantly overflowing with creative ideas for fruity vegan food, often more than I have time to make. Sharing the health and happiness of tasty recipes brings a smile to my lips and a purpose to my kitchen.
Not only do I love being in the kitchen elbow-deep in recipe creation, I also adore photography and graphic design. In other words, I’m an artsy girl who likes to dabble in all sorts of mediums: food, photos, clay, paper, or pixels.
I am a lover of horses, tire swings, yoga, and my Aussie shepherd. She is my daily reminder of what unconditional love looks like. She is my daily reminder of why I am vegan. Vegan for the animals.
I have been a vegan since high school when my sister expressed her desire to become vegan, and I followed suit as any idolizing little sister would. Looking back I can’t thank her enough.
Currently I eat a mostly high-carb low-fat vegan diet. But just as I can’t follow a recipe exactly, I can’t follow a diet exactly either. I’m not into rules, but I am into fruits, veggies, starches, and of course I eat plenty of sweet treats in the name of recipe development.

Feasting on Fruit
I find bliss in being in an empty house with music playing and a kitchen to myself, bringing to life the recipes and creations that flow so freely into my mind. That is why I created this site: to share my ideas so they can become your kitchen creations too.
My recipes are typically sweet, indulgent-like desserts that are healthy enough to be called snacks in my opinion. Regardless of what you call them, every recipe is 100 percent vegan, and some are raw, gluten-free, or sugar-free as well. You won’t find much fat or oil around here either. I do have a few savory recipes sprinkled in from time to time, and a handful of video recipes for a little live-action fun.
The recipes on FeastingonFruit.com are not meant to be saved for an every-once-in-a-while indulgence. They are for anytime, and all the time. My goal is to have some form of fruit in every recipe (well not the savory ones), and I usually make it happen.
